World Bicycle Day Taiwan

To celebrate the first World Bicycle Day (June 3rd, 2018), FLCA organized a morning ride along the river bank bike path in Taipei City, and ended at the Plaza near the city hall for a formal ceremony.
More than 300 riders with very different “vehicles”, including public bike, recumbent, folding bike, mini-velo, and even hand bike, showed up for the ride.
In the ceremony, officials from adjacent cities, namely, Taipei City, New Taipei City, Taoyuan City, and Hsinchu City (total population of nearly 10 million) signed an agreement to create a network to build livable cities together. The indicators include bicycle friendly environment, slow mobility, and low-carbon transportation system.
