Summary

The ADFC recently introduced the Fahrradklima-Test, the largest test of its kind, ranking 539 German cities on the feedback from 120,000 cyclists. The ECF’s German member organisation found that the city of Münster in North-Western Germany is the best cycling city in Germany, no mean feat with 200,000 inhabitants. The test was implemented as part of Germany’s national cycling strategy for 2020, paving the way for similar user-oriented tests to improve cycling experiences.
