The FietsTelweek is a massive drive for cyclist related data run by the Flemish government. During a week in September 2018, the authorities in the Flanders region gathered cycling data via fixed and mobile counting points as well as manually collecting data. This data is used to gain a picture of how the region’s cycling network is being used and is made available open source to local authorities to help improve the resident’s cycling experience in the future.
